American Physical Society (APS)

The American Physical Society is a not-for-profit membership organization of professionals in physics and related disciplines, comprising nearly fifty divisions, sections, and other units. Its mission is the advancement and diffusion of knowledge of physics.

German Physical Society (DPG)

The equivalent to the APS in Germany is the DPG (Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft). The society supports the transfer of knowledge in physics with conferences, events and publications and opens a window on physics to all curious people with special projects and programs.
