What do “spring” in nature and a “spring” in physics have in common?

Both can store potential energy, and every spring is different in regard to its length, or amount of material being stretched respectively.

And as nature is coming back to life, I also have the impression that our campus is getting more lively again, with people sitting outside and enjoying the sun in our ISTA park.
